I live in SE Michigan where it has been cloudy most of the time for the last few days. Tuesday 3 of my quilting friends and I went to two quilt shops. One shop, in Ashland, Ohio, was to pick up a prize that Janet won on the shop hop in November. Stash Inhansment was a goal also.
I purchased some fabric to make pillowcases for 2 girls who live next door. Their mother sends them to my house with food from time to time. At Christmas they brought pie and fudge. The last delivery was Bean Soup. Rich plows their driveway when there is a lot of snow. The pillow cases are done and waiting for Rich to take them next door.
Then we went to a shop in Shiloh, Ohio where I ran into spring! I bought 1/2 yard pieces of really pink pink. I don't have much clear pink and needed to make a quilt that was PINK. I started it yesterday (Wed) afternoon and finished the top this AM. It is so bright. I also bought several 1/2 yards of purples and i'll do a quilt with them soon.
